My cute little boys and another quick page freebie for you!

While we were in Mammoth Lakes we enjoyed the scenery.  I will get some pictures up later but here is a layout I did with my two youngest after we took a little "hike" up the back hill!

Well, I guess I am biased!  They were just so silly that day.  They had "mixed emotions" about the "hike" that is why I put that there.  We had fun though just the three of us!

I adore this kit In Pieces.  She has all these different parts of the kit and they go so well together.  All the images below are linked to the store.

Easter with a Freebie!

Hello all!  I have another freebie QP for you and I hope you like it.  Have you ever had pictures that just never seemed to get scrapped even though you have so many kits that would do the job!  Well, I have a lot of those!

Wimpychompers helped me out and has made a very cute Easter kit named Eggstra Cute that I wanted to share with you today.
http://store.gingerscraps.net/Eggstra-Cute.html
I finally got some more pictures from 2004 done.  Yes, it has been 11 years waiting!  Naughty me!  These are some of the pictures I was talking about that just sit there never to be used.  So here is my first layout with my son Jonny (yes, 11 years ago!).
Isn't he just so darn cute?  He loves coloring eggs even with a pappy in his mouth!  Yes, a bit old for pappies but oh well what are you going to do?  It pacified him!

The second page is of my son Michael.
I just love his smile!  He still has the same cute smile as always.

TIP for everyone!  Now I have to say these do not have any journaling on them because I could not think of anything to say at the time but I think I might go back a write a little something now that I have thought about it a bit.  So my tip to you is if don't think you can add journaling later that is not true.  Just add it to a blank area.  This is your album!  Just do it!  (Ha ha!  Did you get the slogan put in there?)

So here is my quickpage for you to play with.  I hope you enjoy it!
Click on the picture or HERE to get the QP.  Yes, this does say QP2 but my QP1 and I had a "falling out" as of sort and I don't think I will be revisiting the one anytime soon.  Enjoy!

New Quick Page - Steady Aim!

Another beautiful kit that came out in the group of kits made by Wimpychompers!
http://store.gingerscraps.net/Steady-Aim.html
I am just loving these kits.  I just wish I had more photos to scrap with them.  My kids are not really that into some of these, like hunting but they love shooting with Dad.  I don't have any pictures of that though.  Ha ha!  I wonder why?

So I thought this picture would be perfect for this kit.  This is a picture of a little visitor we found on our back porch of our cabin up in Mammoth Lakes.  What a surprise it was.  My husband just sat there watching him for quite some time.  It was funny how fascinated he is with wildlife.  I just warned him and everyone else that they are NEVER to approach such an animal!
And so, since I did finish the layout I had to make it into a quick-page for all of those who would like it.  Enjoy!  As always you can click HERE or on the image below to take you to the download.

Sugar Gumdrops quickpage freebie #2

I just love this kit:
Sugar Gumdrops by Wimpychompers.  Isn't it just so cute!  I love all the little gingerbread kids.  I am a sucker for gingerbread elements.  But I didn't use the gingerbread kids this time since I used them on the opposite page.
I decided to go and use one of AK Designs Stackers Pack 1.  I had to get her buy the store bargains at the end of the year last year, especially since I have loved her designs since she started many years ago.  Of course, because I am me, I forgot to get the remainder of the kits by the end of the year so I missed out on quite a few of her templates but I have almost all her templates so that will last for awhile.  The font I used is Colonna MT.

I am sure most of you are here for the freebie so here it is.  Click on the image or HERE.

I hope you enjoy it!  Have a great day!

Gumdrops quickpage freebie! Yum!

I have been accepted onto another Creative Team.  This time it is Wimpychompers from GingerScraps.  I love her designs.  I am so excited to be part of her team.

Here is her newest kit:
http://store.gingerscraps.net/Sugar-Gumdrops.html
Sugar Gumdrops.  What a cute kit.  I love it!  I am a sucker for anything with Gingerbreads on them.

So here is my first page I made using this kit:

Christmas Eve the boys always get Christmas Eve Pajamas.  They look forward to this every year.  They even say this is our Christmas Tradition that they look forward to.
So here they are enjoying their new pajamas.

In addition to using Sugar Gumdrops, I also used the font Champignon.  I love how it adds a little prettiness to the page.

Now that I have made a page, I have a quick-page for you.  I hope you like this page.  Enjoy!
Here is the preview.  Just click on it or go HERE.

Cluster Freebie and Daniel's My Little Artist using a new kit by Luv Ewe Designs

Here is my most recent layout of my son.  This is my 11 year old doing what he does best. Draw. He loves to draw. He is always drawing, even when he is hanging out with friends. These are pictures of him drawing a self portrait on the sidewalk that a friend sent me while he was with her. What a sweetie pie he is.

This is the kit I used.  I used the template also that is in this bundle so I didn't make a quick page this time.
Just Breathe Bundle by Luv Ewe Designs

Here is a little freebie I have made for you.  This time it is a cluster.  You can use it as cluster on top of a paper for a full layout.  This is a full 12x12 page and you can resize to fit your needs.  I hope you enjoy it.  Click the image below or HERE to get your freebie!

Tis the Season! A bit late! QP for you too!

Okay, well I guess I am goofy because there is a Color Challenge at GingerScraps that I wanted to  participate in this month but I didn't realize that the kits I used were only at Gotta Pixel.  The color is green so here is what would have been my contribution:

Getting ready for the Christmas season was not easy this year.  I finally got a little help from my youngest. Trimming the tree.
I used:
Boughs of Holly Elements by Luv Ewe Designs
Boughs of Holly Torn Papers by Luv Ewe Designs
Boughs of Holly Embossed Papers by Luv Ewe Designs
Boughs of Holly Alphas by Luv Ewe Designs

So, of course, I made a quick page for all of those wonderful scrappers out there that need or want it.  Have fun!
Either click on the image or click HERE.  Have a great day!

QP Freebie and a fun challenge at SDD

Hello all!  I hope all things are going well with you.  I have taken a few weeks off of scrapping because I was busy with Halloween and 7 busy boys.

This month Vicki from Dana's Footprint Designs is hosting the first half of the Bird Cage Challenge at Scrappity-Doo-Dah.  She has a wonderful kit she is using for it too.  Here is the Mini you get for free:

Isn't that pretty?  I think it is.  The hard part is using all the pink in it but I did it!
The awesome part is that Vicki also made a coordinating kit called Sweet Elegance that is just so stunning and you have got to try it!  It is gorgeous!  I LOVE the actual birdcage in this kit!  The flowers are gorgeous and the whole kit is just so fun, it just keeps going on and on and on!  Check it out if you can!

So having boys you would think it is practically impossible to do something with this right?  Wrong!  I did it!  I made a page using all the papers and elements from the mini (which is the challenge), and I used a lot of elements from the big kit too!  Look at what I did:

I thought it turned out cute!  That little stinker!  He just loves my hats.  This is my gardening hat that he just has to play with all the time.

Oh, and one more thing.  I used a template by Dagi's Temp-tations called Color Me Phototastic Vol. 1 to make this page and the QP below so check it out:

So I thought since I just love how this page turned out I had to share it with you too so......
Here you go girls (and maybe guys?), a quickpage for you to use:
Either click on the image above or HERE to get your QP!

Enjoy and have a great day!!!!

See isn't it so cute.  I love the colors too.  I adore the hammer and little tools in this kit.  So of course I had to make a layout with it.

These are my three youngest helping me put up some cabinets in my craft room.  They are having so much fun.  They are my little Handymen.

So I decided to share with you this QP using this kit.  What do you think?  I hope you like it.

A new layout for a new CT!

It has been so long since I have blogged and I can not even believe how long it has been.  So much has happened in the past 22 months.  My boys are getting bigger that is for sure. We are looking forward to the end of summer here in California.  Ha ha!  Well, at least school wise.  Just a week left for some and 3 weeks left for the rest.  I really do have mixed feelings about that.  I have been enjoying the relaxing (no driving for 3 hours a day) summer break.

I have not scrapped in a while since the boys keep me busy but I am trying to take some time to myself now and again.  I finally finished a page today.  It was a miracle.  Here it is:
This is my third son before and after a haircut.  It took me a while to get him to get a haircut but now it is done!  Well, this was April but you get the gist!
Kit used: Grandma's Apple Pie Bundle by Daybreak Scraps

I had so much fun with this kit.  Here is what is in the bundle.  You can purchase them separately but the bundle is a great deal!  It even has recipe cards!

Now the exciting news!  Daybreak Scraps blog has a cute little freebie for you, including a great tutorial on how to make this cute word art.  Hurry and jump over to her blog to get the freebie.  Click on the image below to be taken over to her blog:

Sharing some layouts with a Freebie Quickpage!

First this is the layout I have done with the quickpage that is available below. I hope you enjoy it!

It has been so difficult with this pregnancy to get much done. The last few days I have felt good enough to get on my laptop. Very shocking for me.

I have been on bedrest for the past few days due to spotting and cramps. The doctor says that the baby is okay right now but that I am to keep off my feet until the spotting and cramps stop. I have to say it is nice but now I am going stir crazy.

We had to postpone Jonny's baptism which I am very sad about but I really do want to be there. My friend took him out to ice cream so he felt better about it. Thanks Angela!

Now a huge surprise for me. Three of my very close friends showed up at my home this morning (they are still here), and are cleaning my house for me. Can you believe it? I can't! I have told everyone to leave me alone and we will be okay. Dang it! Don't they listen? I hate having people in my house when I have been on bedrest and doing nothing. (I do appreciate my friends and thank you very much to them. I just get embarressed)

What was really shocking is that my husband has been working his tail off cleaning in the kitchen. I think he now realizes why it is never finished. As soon as you get close to being done you have to cook or feed the kids again! Gee I wonder why a kitchen is never clean with 6 boys?

These first few pages I have done are with DeDe Smith's great new kit Summer Smilez by DeDe Smith which will be the give free daily download at the end of this month over at Digitals.

I have also used Summer Smilez Too by DeDe Smith that is at the store now. I have also used the wordart Pool time fun by elegantwordart2 by Bethany.

This first page is of Jonny,Daniel, and Matthew being funny with expressions while enjoying our pool in April when it was warm. A lot warmer than it is now!

Here is my son Michael making a splash in the pool in April and enjoying himself to the fullest. Thank goodness they enjoyed it then because it is too cold now that it is almost summer. How funny!

This is my silly boy Daniel. He loves to make silly faces that he calls scary faces.

Here is a page I did of my backyard at the beginning of spring. Credits: My Girl by Designs by Shelle which is part of this month's 3S Club at 3Scrapateers (you get 4 kits for less than $10 a month) ; font: Edwardian Script ITC

Now here is the kit I have used for today's quickpage freebie. It is called Graceful Days by Lisa Minor. Graceful days contains:9-12x12 papers, 1 border,4 bows, 2 square brads, 1 oval brad, 1 branch-flowered element, 1 bordered folded paper, 1 fence, 3 flowers,4 frames, 1 rope and 1 journal strip. All for only $1!!!!

So now, here is the quickpage I have made with this wonderful kit. I hope you like it!

Please go HERE to pick up this quickpage! Thank you for stopping by! I would love to hear from you!

A bit about me

I am a stay at home mother of 7 boys that keep me busy all day, but I love to create in many different ways when I have a few minutes to myself. Since my youngest is finally in the double digits, I am able to have a little more time to myself to create. I love crafting in any way, shape, or form and I would like to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening which I hope to share with you too.
