Sharing some layouts with a Freebie Quickpage!

First this is the layout I have done with the quickpage that is available below. I hope you enjoy it!

It has been so difficult with this pregnancy to get much done. The last few days I have felt good enough to get on my laptop. Very shocking for me.

I have been on bedrest for the past few days due to spotting and cramps. The doctor says that the baby is okay right now but that I am to keep off my feet until the spotting and cramps stop. I have to say it is nice but now I am going stir crazy.

We had to postpone Jonny's baptism which I am very sad about but I really do want to be there. My friend took him out to ice cream so he felt better about it. Thanks Angela!

Now a huge surprise for me. Three of my very close friends showed up at my home this morning (they are still here), and are cleaning my house for me. Can you believe it? I can't! I have told everyone to leave me alone and we will be okay. Dang it! Don't they listen? I hate having people in my house when I have been on bedrest and doing nothing. (I do appreciate my friends and thank you very much to them. I just get embarressed)

What was really shocking is that my husband has been working his tail off cleaning in the kitchen. I think he now realizes why it is never finished. As soon as you get close to being done you have to cook or feed the kids again! Gee I wonder why a kitchen is never clean with 6 boys?

These first few pages I have done are with DeDe Smith's great new kit Summer Smilez by DeDe Smith which will be the give free daily download at the end of this month over at Digitals.

I have also used Summer Smilez Too by DeDe Smith that is at the store now. I have also used the wordart Pool time fun by elegantwordart2 by Bethany.

This first page is of Jonny,Daniel, and Matthew being funny with expressions while enjoying our pool in April when it was warm. A lot warmer than it is now!

Here is my son Michael making a splash in the pool in April and enjoying himself to the fullest. Thank goodness they enjoyed it then because it is too cold now that it is almost summer. How funny!

This is my silly boy Daniel. He loves to make silly faces that he calls scary faces.

Here is a page I did of my backyard at the beginning of spring. Credits: My Girl by Designs by Shelle which is part of this month's 3S Club at 3Scrapateers (you get 4 kits for less than $10 a month) ; font: Edwardian Script ITC

Graceful days contains:9-12x12 papers, 1 border,4 bows, 2 square brads, 1 oval brad, 1 branch-flowered element, 1 bordered folded paper, 1 fence, 3 flowers,4 frames, 1 rope and 1 journal strip. Fun, Games, and a Freebie Template for you!
Well, I had fun and I have been playing with some challenges that seem like games to me.  This first layout I have done I used my ABC freebie Template to do.  I am helping out over at Angels That Scrap and I am hosting the ABC Template Challenge there.
Credits:  Pick Me! by angelfaye ; fonts: 2Peas Raspberry,Acorn Intials,2Peas Crazy Pooch
So on top of getting my ABC Templates in order ect, you also get a participation prize from me.  Yup, another template!    This is what I did with my new template.

This is my 5 year old being goofy with his goggles!  He is so funny.

So here is my template that I gave away as a participation prize.  Next time I will give you all a bit of time to finish this challenge to get it.  This challenge officially ends today if you want to try and earn the prize.  I was thinking that I will give you until the end of the month if you would like to come over and try to earn it.  Just go HERE and read the rules.  Basically use something from Angels That Scrap and make an A page with my template.  Upload it to the gallery and go back and show me the link in THIS THREAD.  Then I will send you your prize!

Here is the previews to the participation prizes for the ABC Template Challenge

Now this is a funny story.  I started to do this page for the He Said, She Said Challenge at Digitals then I realized that this kit was not even sold there.  What a goof I am sometimes.  I love this anyhow.  I am definitely keeping it.

This next couple pages is of my niece's Kayti's wedding.  Credits:  Blessed Be Page Set by Maddy Fernandez

Now here is a page you have all seen if you have been to my blog before since I gave it away last week as a QP!  But this is my inspiration for my new template I have giving away.

This is my nephew's new wife as of last year too.  I used my new template to do it.  Now this template I used a font for the flowers just to do something different.  I used Amanda's Peas Stacey Doodles.

I would love to see any pages done with my templates.  Thank you!

Hello all!  I am glad that I am feeling better now but I do need to let you know that I will be back and forth for a while.  I started having cramps last Thursday so it kind of scared me.  I am feeling better now but I am waiting for blood test results.  It is making me nervous waiting.

Anyhow, I thought I would share with you a few layouts and then give you a little freebie!
My boys most favorite past time is riding motorcycles and quads. It is even better when they are out with friends in the desert.

This is Jonny's new motorcycle. He just loves to ride whenever he can. Luckily we got it right before this new "LAME" law came into effect. We have a few of these little bikes but this one is bigger and fits him way better.

This is my youngest just as messy as can be. He just thinks it is so funny to make a mess all day long and that does not stop at his face obviously. Every time I go to take a picture he has a messy little face. Oh, well. Someone might start to wonder if I ever clean his face? I do!

Now it comes to the freebie for today.  It is a QP.  I hope you all like it!  It is made with Lisa Minor's Silly Summer Fun.

Check out her blog HERE and her store HERE!  The amazing part is her kits are only $1 each.

I hope you like this QP and I would love to hear comments if you have time.  To pick up this QP please go HERE.

Sharing pages and a Freebie for you!

Okay, I have meant to get things up faster than I have but I have not been feeling as wonderful this week as I would have liked to.   It doesn't feel so great to sit up at my computer right now or at all this week.  So finally yesterday I went to Best Buy and got a laptop!  Woohoo!  My baby spilled orange juice all over my last one about 10 months ago.  Maybe I can at least do something while I am feeling horrible now.

Well, even though I am not feeling so hot I did get a few things done this past week.  Here is a small sample of my pages done.  I hope you like them and you can get some type of inspiration.  If not well, just enjoy looking and laughing!  Haha!

There is a quick page for you too.  Enjoy!
This first page is a quick look at our Easter Day, Easter Memories from this year. It was wonderful.  I really liked this template from digitreats so I had to do something with it right away before I forgot.

Kit:  Nearly Spring by Dea Spina
fonts: Harrington
.

This page is of my son Michael enjoying Easter. He just loved finding eggs and his basket.
Fonts:  JI Bunny Caps, homework normal
Template:  Pieces Layered Templates by Dea Spina
Here is a page I did for the Sketchy Details Challenge over at Digitals.
Travis was so funny! I just loved how he used our speaker as a microphone. He just cracked me up how he would constantly climb up on to my chair and use it for a stand and try to talk to Daniel that was outside the motor home.

Font:  I can't remember!  Woops!
Sketch copied after SCRAP-A-SKETCH TEMPLATE #12 by Jen Maceyunas.
Well, I do have to say that I love challenges.  This page was for the He Said, She Said Challenge at Digitals.

These are my boys Easter Dinner. I thought this quote was perfect for this picture. Thanks for the great quote Lynne!

Font: EK Imaginary, EK Laughter

This page below is Chris and Jonny and their Tooth drama!  Chris didn't tell us that he was having tooth pain and finally he came to me saying that he just couldn't stand it anymore and something was wrong.  I looked and he had one tooth in front of the other.  Literally!  He had both his adult tooth and baby tooth in the same spot practically.  So I yelled for Tony and he looked at it and pulled gently and it popped out!  OUCH!
Jonny was a little less dramatic but long awaited.  When he was two he had to have his teeth removed due to Juice Rot.  He had artificial teeth put in.  Well over 5 years later he finally got the artificial teeth taken out and his teeth were starting to grow out on top.  Well, enough of the teeth talk.

This following page is what I did with the Quickpage that is available below.  My boys were bored one day after school.  It was hot and they were not sure what to do with themselves.  So some dug in the sand box with huge shovels.  Some ate cinnamon pita chips.  And then some of them thought they had to act like muscle men.  I am sorry but he is too young to be doing this I think.  What do you think?  They do like to play together though.  That is the good thing.
Kit:  Lemon Sunshine by Lisa Minor
Fonts:  LD Flutter, LD PolkaDots

Not only do I have a freebie but so does Lisa on her blog so head on over there and pick up this wonderful alpha:
This is the kit that Lisa just came out with called Lemon Sunshine.  It is a very pretty kit and like all her kits they are only $1.
Here is the Quick Page I have made using this kit.  I hope you like it.  Please go to the download below.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to hear if you like this or not!  Keep an eye out for a new template coming on Monday!

I have been too busy today!  Freebie QP today!

This first page I did earlier this month but I got chosen for the LOTD over at Gotta Pixel.  I was so shocked.  I had actually used a template for the Blueprint Challenge and turned it.  This is my Daniel being his "Adventurous" self.  Kit:  Spring Blooms by Silvia Romeo ; Template by Brenda Miller for Blueprints Challenge ; wordart by elegant Wordart
This second layout I did with a photo I have been wanting to scrap.  I used some gifts that Lisa Minor gave the CT.  So I did an overlay blend and used her photo mask.

This last layout I did with Lisa Minor's Silly Summer Fun.  It was a lot of fun.  I saw something similar in a gallery but can not remember where.

So here is the QP!  I hope you like it.  It was made with Silvia Romeo's Vintage Glam.

A few surprises for all!  Maybe a Template Freebie?????  What else?

Well, if you can actually read this one then you know my surprise. Yes, it was today I found out and my hubby is shocked. We are both happy but still shocked. I feel so old! Can I do it? I know I will but I still feel OLD especially when I look at this picture! I can see all the wrinkles that are forming. Augh!

Here is a layout I have done of my Great-Great Grandmother on my father's side.  I don't have many heritage pictures but the ones I do I cherish.

I did this for the font challenge at Gotta Pixel and then realized that this is an exclusive kit at Scrapbook Elements.  Oh, well.

I found this beautiful layout made by Melissa Green through the Memory Makers newsletter today and I just had to do something with it!  So I made some templates for you all!  Now I had to be creative with the PNG+ files because you can only do so many layers so I had to merge a lot to get this together in one file.  Otherwise the flowers are on separate layers.  Now the bling and the twinkles are on separate layers too.  Oh, I hope you like this one.  It took a long time to make.  Thanks for looking.  Click on the links below the individual picture to get your files.  Thank you in advance for your wonderful comments!

Please click here to get the 12x12
Please click here to get the 8 1/2x11.

Thanks for looking!  I hope you enjoy this template as much as I have.

A new type of freebie from me.  Wordart Freebie!  I hope you like it!

Hello all!  I know that anyone that follows this blog is probably following it because of my templates.  Well, I have to say that I have lost my creative juices for that type of thing.  I love templates and I use them all the time.  My problem is that I can not find anything I feel like I can be creative with anymore to make my own.  I do apologize.  I am still going to try to stop being lazy and get the rest of the PNG+'s done.  Not today though.

So, I am going to try to start a few new things.  First I used to do wordart a lot when I worked for 1HourScrap.  It has been a while since then.  I realized that I love word art so I am going to try it again.  I am not perfect at it but I guess you don't have to be.  That is just me!

So first I thought I would show you a little of what I am working on and then share with you my word art.  If you don't want to look at the pages feel free to skip to the bottom.

Here is a page I did this past week to show my strawberry patch.  Oh, the strawberries I have been getting are delicious!

I thought I would do a page about one of our newest projects on our little "farm". This is our new strawberry bed. Well, this is us making it and filling it. Of course, only my youngest three actually helped make it. Weird huh? I keep telling by big boys have you ever heard of the Chicken and the Wheat story? I know they have. Anyhow, this is us working together to do this.
Materials used:
fonts: 101 Strawberry Delight, Harrington

Here is one of my latests.  Here is a page I have done just to match this wonderful wordart I have found. I love the saying it goes: "Family faces are like magic mirrors. Looking at people that belong to us we see the past, present, and future." Then I found this template that just fit it perfectly.

Materials used:

Here is something I did a while ago.  These are my boys climbing the fig tree at my MIL's house. This is a tradition if I ever knew of one! They have to try to hide themselves the best they can. They love this tree because it is so full all the time. Peek-a-Boo!

Materials Used:
Charlotte by Broken Jar Creations.

Okay, one more layout to share before the freebie!  This one is one of my more recent layouts. This is my family a few years ago. I can not believe it was that long ago. I can remember it almost day to day when we were in the hospital. My poor baby. It truly was a miracle that he got through what he did. Some people may call it magic. I call it what it is...My baby.

Material Used:
Believe in the Magic by DeDe Smith ; font: LD Walt

Okay, so here is my little gift for you today:  I hope you do like it.  I would love to hear from you if you can.  Below this is the layout I did when I made this word art.  To collect it please go below to download!  Have fun!
Here is a photo I have found in some film I just recently got developed. This is my third son Michael and I at the beach. I have always liked to just hug my kids especially when they are that young. Now he will be turning 10 this month and I am just sad because they don't like to give hugs any more. This one is for him to remember that we did used to hug at one time. Also, this word art that I have made is available on my blog.
Materials used:
Spring Ballerina by Cari Lopez (this weeks Scrap-a-Deal) at 3Scrapateers.  Fonts: Pea Jeannie Script, Pea Stacy's Doodle Script, 20.000 dollar bail (Larabie Font).

Procrastination Nation and Template Freebie PNG+ for E pages

Hello.  I know probably nobody will remember me after the break I have taken.  So much has happened to me the last few months.  The main thing was I was sick for so long.  Seriously, I did not feel good at all.  After I got over my sickness and my babies sickness I was still feeling sick.  Well, I found out I was pregnant.  It was tough on me because not soon after finding out why I was sick I miscarried.  This was especially hard on me because I was feeling guilty for my mixed feelings about the news.

Anyhow, all is well now.  I feel better and I am trying to get back into the swing of things.  I am getting busy with the outside now too.  I know most of you are like "What!".  Well, in Southern California it is time to start your garden.  It still is frosting over a bit at night but not too bad of frosts.  So I got some strawberries out a couple weeks ago.  I also started seedlings in the house of snap beans and peas.  Also some other plants but the beans and peas are growing fast.

So I started thinking this morning that I really am sick of being a procrastinator.  How about you?  I know we all have our 'procrastinating' things.  I have many, especially cleaning.  I have a long list.  Last week I tackled my bedroom.  It still is not done 100% but almost there.  So I can not say I have won the battle yet.  So that is my new challenge in life is take a project each week and work on it.

I want to pass this challenge on to you out there.  I know you all are scrappers but you can scrap about it too.  I am going to scrap about my procrastination here in the next week or so.  If you can get something done that you have been procrastinating and send me a scrapbook page about it I will have a new template and alpha ready for you.  So you get both.  I will try to get the preview of the template done soon too.

So there is your challenge from me.  I guess I was thinking about challenges because I am now working with 3Scrapateers on their Challenge Board.  They are changing things around and I am so excited about it.  You have got to check it out if you have not already.  This is a work in progress so give them a little bit of time to get it all tweaked out.  There is at least one challenge up right now so go and check that one out now!

Now DoItDigi has a new owner.  She is a sweetie.  She was so kind when I had to take a break due to all the mess in my life.  LOL!  But she has a lot going on over there too!  Their promotional kit of the week is gorgeous!   It is called Simpler Times.  Check it out!  Their Inspirational Kit for March is absolutely musical called Music of our Lives. (check out the front page of the site for info on all of this)

If you don't know what this is check out the forum for the information on how to get this free.

Well, on with my show and tell.  I have not been too busy lately but here are a few pages I have done recently:
I have done this for the Lyric Challenge at DID. I love this song by the way. Thanks bunches angelfaye. These are my children's eyes.
fonts:  LD Stitched, and I don't remember the script font here.

Here is a page I did for the Font Challenge at Digitals.  Here is my baby having fun playing with the mop water. I know not that clean but after he was done making a mess he got cleaned up pretty good. Of course, I actually got "some" mopping done but not much!

This is for the He Said, She Said challenge. I loved this quote. "When I count my blessings I count you twice".

This one was for this month's He Said, She Said Challenge at Digitals.  This is my mother with my youngest son (her youngest grandson) and her oldest great-grandson (my sister's grandson). What a picture. I love it. I liked this saying too from the He Said, She Said Challenge.

A bit about me

I am a stay at home mother of 7 boys that keep me busy all day, but I love to create in many different ways when I have a few minutes to myself. Since my youngest is finally in the double digits, I am able to have a little more time to myself to create. I love crafting in any way, shape, or form and I would like to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening which I hope to share with you too.
