I used this month's free with $10 purchase for November,  Reunion by Scrappity-Doo-Dah Designers.  It is such a cute kit:
I also used AK Designs Template 1 from her blog freebie Inspire Me.  I just love her designs!

QP Freebie and a fun challenge at SDD

Hello all!  I hope all things are going well with you.  I have taken a few weeks off of scrapping because I was busy with Halloween and 7 busy boys.

This month Vicki from Dana's Footprint Designs is hosting the first half of the Bird Cage Challenge at Scrappity-Doo-Dah.  She has a wonderful kit she is using for it too.  Here is the Mini you get for free:

Isn't that pretty?  I think it is.  The hard part is using all the pink in it but I did it!
The awesome part is that Vicki also made a coordinating kit called Sweet Elegance that is just so stunning and you have got to try it!  It is gorgeous!  I LOVE the actual birdcage in this kit!  The flowers are gorgeous and the whole kit is just so fun, it just keeps going on and on and on!  Check it out if you can!

So having boys you would think it is practically impossible to do something with this right?  Wrong!  I did it!  I made a page using all the papers and elements from the mini (which is the challenge), and I used a lot of elements from the big kit too!  Look at what I did:

I thought it turned out cute!  That little stinker!  He just loves my hats.  This is my gardening hat that he just has to play with all the time.

Oh, and one more thing.  I used a template by Dagi's Temp-tations called Color Me Phototastic Vol. 1 to make this page and the QP below so check it out:

So I thought since I just love how this page turned out I had to share it with you too so......
Here you go girls (and maybe guys?), a quickpage for you to use:
Either click on the image above or HERE to get your QP!

Enjoy and have a great day!!!!

Freebie with Dana's Footprint's new kit Mr. Fix It!

Hello everyone!  I hope all is well with you.  We have something fun for today.  It is a small little Blog Train.  I hope you are able to get to all the stops on this one.  It should be fun.

So I am part of another Blog Train.  This time it is for the Creative Team members for Dana's Footprint Digital Designs.  You can check out the beginning of the train at her blog HERE.  If you came from EllyMae's blog that is great, you are on the right train!  Toot toot!

This kit is so cute.  It is so boyish that I had to have it.  It is called Mr. Fix It by Dana's Footprint.

See isn't it so cute.  I love the colors too.  I adore the hammer and little tools in this kit.  So of course I had to make a layout with it.

These are my three youngest helping me put up some cabinets in my craft room.  They are having so much fun.  They are my little Handymen.

So I decided to share with you this QP using this kit.  What do you think?  I hope you like it.

Layouts, LOTD and a Pool Party Palooza QP freebie!

I am on a roll..... I have gotten quite a few layouts done this week.  It is a miracle upon miracles.  I just have been lazy around the house to make up for it.  Ha ha!  And I got Layout of the Day at Scrappity-Doo-Dah!  I am so excited.  It has been years since I have gotten such an honor!

Here are my layouts I have finished this week so far:
The following layouts were made using
Travis in the Pool
This is my 6th son Travis.  He is getting to be such a big boy and is swimming by himself this year.
Paddle Surfing
This is my 4th son taking my baby paddle surfing around the pool.
I'm a Big Boy Now!
Here is my baby becoming a big boy.  He didn't like the pool at the beginning of the summer now he just wants to spend all day out there.  He gets his brothers and father to get him out there and he even swims by himself (with the vest of coarse!).
This layout I made into a QP for you.  You will find it at the end of this post.
Pool Fun with Dad
Here are the little boys enjoying the pool with Dad!
The next two layouts were made using:
My Little Star by Daybreak Scraps
Tent Camping
This is the one that made LOTD at Scrappity-Doo-Dah!  I am so excited! This was the first night on our trip at Pine Flats Lake.
Pine Flats
This is the view from the road to Pine Flats Lake.  My journaling is about the day up to us leaving and the challenges we faced.
Now here is the QP I made for you using Daybreak Scraps' Pool Party Palooza

Click on the picture above or HERE to get your freebie!

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy the QP!  Have a great day!

A new layout for a new CT!

It has been so long since I have blogged and I can not even believe how long it has been.  So much has happened in the past 22 months.  My boys are getting bigger that is for sure. We are looking forward to the end of summer here in California.  Ha ha!  Well, at least school wise.  Just a week left for some and 3 weeks left for the rest.  I really do have mixed feelings about that.  I have been enjoying the relaxing (no driving for 3 hours a day) summer break.

I have not scrapped in a while since the boys keep me busy but I am trying to take some time to myself now and again.  I finally finished a page today.  It was a miracle.  Here it is:
This is my third son before and after a haircut.  It took me a while to get him to get a haircut but now it is done!  Well, this was April but you get the gist!
Kit used: Grandma's Apple Pie Bundle by Daybreak Scraps

I had so much fun with this kit.  Here is what is in the bundle.  You can purchase them separately but the bundle is a great deal!  It even has recipe cards!

Now the exciting news!  Daybreak Scraps blog has a cute little freebie for you, including a great tutorial on how to make this cute word art.  Hurry and jump over to her blog to get the freebie.  Click on the image below to be taken over to her blog:

A bit about me

I am a stay at home mother of 7 boys that keep me busy all day, but I love to create in many different ways when I have a few minutes to myself. Since my youngest is finally in the double digits, I am able to have a little more time to myself to create. I love crafting in any way, shape, or form and I would like to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening which I hope to share with you too.
