Sugar Gumdrops quickpage freebie #2

I just love this kit:

Sugar Gumdrops by Wimpychompers.  Isn't it just so cute!  I love all the little gingerbread kids.  I am a sucker for gingerbread elements.  But I didn't use the gingerbread kids this time since I used them on the opposite page. 

I decided to go and use one of AK Designs Stackers Pack 1.  I had to get her buy the store bargains at the end of the year last year, especially since I have loved her designs since she started many years ago.  Of course, because I am me, I forgot to get the remainder of the kits by the end of the year so I missed out on quite a few of her templates but I have almost all her templates so that will last for awhile.  The font I used is Colonna MT.

Gumdrops quickpage freebie! Yum!

I have been accepted onto another Creative Team.  This time it is Wimpychompers from GingerScraps.  I love her designs.  I am so excited to be part of her team.

So here is my first page I made using this kit:

Christmas Eve the boys always get Christmas Eve Pajamas.  They look forward to this every year.  They even say this is our Christmas Tradition that they look forward to.
So here they are enjoying their new pajamas.

In addition to using Sugar Gumdrops, I also used the font Champignon.  I love how it adds a little prettiness to the page.

Cluster Freebie and Daniel's My Little Artist using a new kit by Luv Ewe Designs

Here is my most recent layout of my son.  This is my 11 year old doing what he does best. Draw. He loves to draw. He is always drawing, even when he is hanging out with friends. These are pictures of him drawing a self portrait on the sidewalk that a friend sent me while he was with her. What a sweetie pie he is.

This is the kit I used.  I used the template also that is in this bundle so I didn't make a quick page this time.

Tis the Season! A bit late! QP for you too!

Okay, well I guess I am goofy because there is a Color Challenge at GingerScraps that I wanted to  participate in this month but I didn't realize that the kits I used were only at Gotta Pixel.  The color is green so here is what would have been my contribution:

Getting ready for the Christmas season was not easy this year.  I finally got a little help from my youngest. Trimming the tree.

Another Freebie-Wordart! Another page!

I finally got another page done.  I had to stay up REALLY late to get it done but I did it!

I wanted to get this page done because I have been thinking about my brother lately.  We lost him this past summer due to complications with two Grand Mal Seizures.   I wish I could have taken more pictures of him at the time but didn't due to the fact I didn't want to invade his privacy or make him feel weird.

I love this page because I finally used real journaling in a page.  This page will help me remember him the way I want to.  Happy and loving!  Wanting to live and wanting to please my mother.  But most of all my little brother that wanted so bad to be what the Lord would want him to be.

The journaling is might bore you but it reads:

What a special day this turned out to be.  Mom and I got to spend the day with Harris and he was so happy.  He loved the shirts that we picked out to wear for him.  He was smiles and even laughter on his part, even though it was hard for him to do so.  His smile still to this day will burn into my soul.  His favorite part was the jewels that was attached to our shirts.  He laid there holding the gems and caressing them.  We all enjoyed the time we got to spend together.  It was one of the last days that I got to spend with him before he died.  I will always cherish this day that we had.

I was looking for a quote that would fit this page perfectly and I finally found this page on MamaNYC.  There are many ideas and quotes here.  Try it out.  Maybe I will make some more word art using a few more of these soon.  If anyone has a request for one of them to be made into word art let me know and I will attempt to.


I used Little Miss Page Kit a collab from Luv Ewe Designs and CathyK Designs. 

I didn't make a quick page this time but I did save the word art for you.  It is saved at a 300 pixels/inch and a large 9.81"x 8" so you can use it for whatever your project will be (even vinyl).  I hope you like it.

A Freebie! A new CT! A new layout!

I have finally decided to get back into digital scrapping again.  I have done a few pages but not really much in the past couple years but I feel the need to start again.

So a couple weeks ago I applied for a Guest CT for Luv Ewe Designs and I made it.  I am so happy.  I love her designs.  I started on January 1st!

Here is my first layout for my new CT position.  I hope you like it!

These are two photos of my mother and I at the hospital visiting my brother. One day we came with the same color of shirt and everyone that saw us had to comment. What is funny is that we don't even look alike but it was nice to feel like her daughter for once. We had so much fun with it that we went to the store and found matching shirts again except this time in my brother's favorite color. It was so nice to see his smiling face when we came in. He loved my mother's attached necklace too.  He laid there and played with the necklace most of the time we were there.

I used Little Miss Page Kit a collab from Luv Ewe Designs and CathyK Designs.  I also used my Pinterest page of Scrapbook Inspiration and found this great post and a wonderful sketch you should try out at Ideas for Scrapbookers by Pam Callaghan.

 

 
I also used Birds of Paradise Font on this page.

It has become one of my favorite fonts for script writing.  Unfortunately it doesn't have the numbers but that is okay, I improvised.
