Sharing pages and a Freebie for you!

Okay, I have meant to get things up faster than I have but I have not been feeling as wonderful this week as I would have liked to.   It doesn't feel so great to sit up at my computer right now or at all this week.  So finally yesterday I went to Best Buy and got a laptop!  Woohoo!  My baby spilled orange juice all over my last one about 10 months ago.  Maybe I can at least do something while I am feeling horrible now.

Well, even though I am not feeling so hot I did get a few things done this past week.  Here is a small sample of my pages done.  I hope you like them and you can get some type of inspiration.  If not well, just enjoy looking and laughing!  Haha!

There is a quick page for you too.  Enjoy!
This first page is a quick look at our Easter Day, Easter Memories from this year. It was wonderful.  I really liked this template from digitreats so I had to do something with it right away before I forgot.

This page is of my son Michael enjoying Easter. He just loved finding eggs and his basket.

Here is a page I did for the Sketchy Details Challenge over at Digitals.
Travis was so funny! I just loved how he used our speaker as a microphone. He just cracked me up how he would constantly climb up on to my chair and use it for a stand and try to talk to Daniel that was outside the motor home.

Sketch copied after SCRAP-A-SKETCH TEMPLATE #12 by Jen Maceyunas.
Well, I do have to say that I love challenges.  This page was for the He Said, She Said Challenge at Digitals.

These are my boys Easter Dinner. I thought this quote was perfect for this picture. Thanks for the great quote Lynne!

This page below is Chris and Jonny and their Tooth drama!  Chris didn't tell us that he was having tooth pain and finally he came to me saying that he just couldn't stand it anymore and something was wrong.  I looked and he had one tooth in front of the other.  Literally!  He had both his adult tooth and baby tooth in the same spot practically.  So I yelled for Tony and he looked at it and pulled gently and it popped out!  OUCH!
Jonny was a little less dramatic but long awaited.  When he was two he had to have his teeth removed due to Juice Rot.  He had artificial teeth put in.  Well over 5 years later he finally got the artificial teeth taken out and his teeth were starting to grow out on top.  Well, enough of the teeth talk.

This following page is what I did with the Quickpage that is available below.  My boys were bored one day after school.  It was hot and they were not sure what to do with themselves.  So some dug in the sand box with huge shovels.  Some ate cinnamon pita chips.  And then some of them thought they had to act like muscle men.  I am sorry but he is too young to be doing this I think.  What do you think?  They do like to play together though.  That is the good thing.
Kit:  Lemon Sunshine by Lisa Minor
Fonts:  LD Flutter, LD PolkaDots

Not only do I have a freebie but so does Lisa on her blog so head on over there and pick up this wonderful alpha:
This is the kit that Lisa just came out with called Lemon Sunshine.  It is a very pretty kit and like all her kits they are only $1.
Here is the Quick Page I have made using this kit.  I hope you like it.  Please go to the download below.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to hear if you like this or not!  Keep an eye out for a new template coming on Monday!

I have been too busy today!  Freebie QP today!

This first page I did earlier this month but I got chosen for the LOTD over at Gotta Pixel.  I was so shocked.  I had actually used a template for the Blueprint Challenge and turned it.  This is my Daniel being his "Adventurous" self.  Kit:  Spring Blooms by Silvia Romeo ; Template by Brenda Miller for Blueprints Challenge ; wordart by elegant Wordart
This second layout I did with a photo I have been wanting to scrap.  I used some gifts that Lisa Minor gave the CT.  So I did an overlay blend and used her photo mask.

This last layout I did with Lisa Minor's Silly Summer Fun.  It was a lot of fun.  I saw something similar in a gallery but can not remember where.

So here is the QP!  I hope you like it.  It was made with Silvia Romeo's Vintage Glam.

A few surprises for all!  Maybe a Template Freebie?????  What else?

Well, if you can actually read this one then you know my surprise. Yes, it was today I found out and my hubby is shocked. We are both happy but still shocked. I feel so old! Can I do it? I know I will but I still feel OLD especially when I look at this picture! I can see all the wrinkles that are forming. Augh!

Here is a layout I have done of my Great-Great Grandmother on my father's side.  I don't have many heritage pictures but the ones I do I cherish.

I did this for the font challenge at Gotta Pixel and then realized that this is an exclusive kit at Scrapbook Elements.  Oh, well.

I found this beautiful layout made by Melissa Green through the Memory Makers newsletter today and I just had to do something with it!  So I made some templates for you all!  Now I had to be creative with the PNG+ files because you can only do so many layers so I had to merge a lot to get this together in one file.  Otherwise the flowers are on separate layers.  Now the bling and the twinkles are on separate layers too.  Oh, I hope you like this one.  It took a long time to make.  Thanks for looking.  Click on the links below the individual picture to get your files.  Thank you in advance for your wonderful comments!

Please click here to get the 12x12
Please click here to get the 8 1/2x11.

Thanks for looking!  I hope you enjoy this template as much as I have.

A new type of freebie from me.  Wordart Freebie!  I hope you like it!

Hello all!  I know that anyone that follows this blog is probably following it because of my templates.  Well, I have to say that I have lost my creative juices for that type of thing.  I love templates and I use them all the time.  My problem is that I can not find anything I feel like I can be creative with anymore to make my own.  I do apologize.  I am still going to try to stop being lazy and get the rest of the PNG+'s done.  Not today though.

So, I am going to try to start a few new things.  First I used to do wordart a lot when I worked for 1HourScrap.  It has been a while since then.  I realized that I love word art so I am going to try it again.  I am not perfect at it but I guess you don't have to be.  That is just me!

So first I thought I would show you a little of what I am working on and then share with you my word art.  If you don't want to look at the pages feel free to skip to the bottom.

Here is a page I did this past week to show my strawberry patch.  Oh, the strawberries I have been getting are delicious!

I thought I would do a page about one of our newest projects on our little "farm". This is our new strawberry bed. Well, this is us making it and filling it. Of course, only my youngest three actually helped make it. Weird huh? I keep telling by big boys have you ever heard of the Chicken and the Wheat story? I know they have. Anyhow, this is us working together to do this.

Here is one of my latests.  Here is a page I have done just to match this wonderful wordart I have found. I love the saying it goes: "Family faces are like magic mirrors. Looking at people that belong to us we see the past, present, and future." Then I found this template that just fit it perfectly.

Materials used:

Here is something I did a while ago.  These are my boys climbing the fig tree at my MIL's house. This is a tradition if I ever knew of one! They have to try to hide themselves the best they can. They love this tree because it is so full all the time. Peek-a-Boo!

Materials Used:
Charlotte by Broken Jar Creations.

Okay, one more layout to share before the freebie!  This one is one of my more recent layouts. This is my family a few years ago. I can not believe it was that long ago. I can remember it almost day to day when we were in the hospital. My poor baby. It truly was a miracle that he got through what he did. Some people may call it magic. I call it what it is...My baby.

Okay, so here is my little gift for you today:  I hope you do like it.  I would love to hear from you if you can.  Below this is the layout I did when I made this word art.  To collect it please go below to download!  Have fun!
Here is a photo I have found in some film I just recently got developed. This is my third son Michael and I at the beach. I have always liked to just hug my kids especially when they are that young. Now he will be turning 10 this month and I am just sad because they don't like to give hugs any more. This one is for him to remember that we did used to hug at one time. Also, this word art that I have made is available on my blog.

A bit about me

I am a stay at home mother of 7 boys that keep me busy all day, but I love to create in many different ways when I have a few minutes to myself. Since my youngest is finally in the double digits, I am able to have a little more time to myself to create. I love crafting in any way, shape, or form and I would like to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening which I hope to share with you too.
