Some layouts done with Italy by Request by Silvia Romeo

I did some layouts this weekend with Silvia Romeo's kit Italy by Request. Now, I wanted to use the special papers in this kit because they are so nice but I really didn't know how to use them with such bland photos. So here is what I decided to do with this kit. Birthdays.

The first layout is a page I did for my niece Rheanna. Her birthday was the day she left so we had a little party for her right before she left. Cake for breakfast? Yup! The journaling is just some sentiments I put on there for her.

The second layout is of my Mother in law's birthday. We celebrate with her every year on her birthday. My kids are sitting at the table with her at the bottom.

This was a fun kit to work with. Thanks for looking gals!

What a beautiful kit that you have used so elegantly to showcase your lovely photos. The tone of this kit is happiness and fun and birthdays and celebrations in the genre for it. I went to the site to check it out, but since I am on a restricted budget, I thought the price a little beyond my budget amount for kits. Love the left side that touches your photo with the use of the strong color and its fabulous elements. So I will have to be contented to come here and see your family birthday photos. I will have to place this on my wish list. Didn't visit for a while because of Dr's, testing appointments, and Oncology Infusion visits. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO

A bit about me

I am a stay at home mother of 7 boys that keep me busy all day, but I love to create in many different ways when I have a few minutes to myself. Since my youngest is finally in the double digits, I am able to have a little more time to myself to create. I love crafting in any way, shape, or form and I would like to share that with you. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening which I hope to share with you too.
